..mm..sorry but am away all next week, and would rather not resort to a virtual chat.....I can do a meet in person early Monday 21 but must leave at 10
Will leave Tony & Mark to consider how best to progress...can understand if you meet without me but wd like feedback from any meeting before the Board meet..
They have agreed we can use their meeting room for a pre-board directors meeting on Tuesday 22 August 12.30 - 2 pm.
Mark and I have already confirmed attendance.
Can @Robin Williams , @Kevin Cook and @martinhoyle please advise.
I will get some sandwiches from M & S, some crisps and orange juice for a working lunch.
Tony
What follows are miscellaneous notes resulting from a phone call between Kevin and me Mark:
KC's investigations about the LCS roof
lack of visibility about scope of works - KC has been working blind in his investigations
report we paid for is not dissimilar to the duff preventative maintenance report which we paid for, in terms of details and rigour.
need objective more than subjective
like for like?
disturbed at the manner in which increased costs from £40k to £200k presented to us. Not helpful.
no longer confident in 3Sixty's recommendations
major projects relationship with 3Sixty
project management is not conventional project management - opaque, rare progress reports, bad communication (via Alex, only upon request), no transparency over fees
3Sixty should no longer automatically win project management for major projects
open book accounting
management costs quoted up front
we cannot rely upon 3Sixty - need to pay for an independent trusted advisor (eg. contract manager, QS, chartered surveyor)
3Sixty first-year review
need to get the relationship working. Now well past first-year feet-under-table.
not helpful. several mistakes. our considerable building maintenance issues not resolved with appropriate pace
we are not in control of this relationship
we need a senior 3Sixty account manager who is not Alex
we need a board of directors with teeth who can bring 3Sixty under control
