Can anyone tell me the situation with core cleaning? Core 1 is a dreadful mess (because of building work in flat #7) and has not been cleaned for a few weeks. Yun Shen has just complained to me that core 8 is rarely cleaned.

Both on the general forum, and in board meetings, I have asked this question, and I feel that Alex has dismissed my enquiry. Why?

Is it meant to be fortnightly, or what? Are we paying for cleaning which is not happening? Why is it so difficult to sort this out???

All are agreed that Alex D. has been spectacularly effective since joining the team. There have been issues with BetterClean. @Robin Williams and I plan to meet on Monday. I would prefer not to discuss this - I am happy to leave this whole BetterClean episode to our property manager to resolve and report upon. She has demonstrated more than adequate expertise for this. I reckon it would be good for the relationship if we leave Alex D to get on with this. She may not do a perfect job in the exact way we would like, but she'll very likely do a 95% perfect job, leaving us to focus on more strategic stuff?
